Registration Fees

The early bird fees are available until Friday 24th April 2020.

The registration fee includes:
• Attendance at all Congress sessions and entry to the exhibition hall
• All congress materials
• Daily refreshment breaks and a lunch
• Attendance at the Welcome Reception, Sponsors’ Drinks Reception and Emerging Professionals’ Luncheon

Early Registration Fees
Please Note: early registration fees are only available for those who register and make full payment before the early registration deadline of 24th April.
If you register and do not make payment by the early registration deadline you will be invoiced for the late registration fee.

Member Registration Fee
Only members of SPHNC and ICOM are entitled to this discounted rate.  Please note that you may be asked to provide a document for proof.

Student Registration Fee
Only delegates who are students are entitled to this discounted rate.  Please note that you may be asked to provide a document for proof.

Group Bookings
If you wish to register a group of 10 or more delegates, please contact us by email at naturalhistory2020@in-conference.org.uk

Workshops
Workshops will take place on Sunday 7th and Monday 8th June.  They can be booked when registering and are at an additional cost.  Please click here to learn more about the workshops available to book.

Social Functions
Any further social functions are bookable through the registration page and are priced at:

Conference Dinner: £75

Collection Tours
Tours of the collections at National Museums Scotland and Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh on Friday 12th June are available to book free of charge when registering, but places are limited.  Please click here to learn more.

Field Trips

Please be aware of unofficial websites offering hotel accommodation and registration packages.  They are not representing SPNHC ICOM NATHIST 2020 and you should only book via this website for registration and reserve accommodation via the link to our appointed the housing partner, Edinburgh Convention Bureau.

Certificates of Attendance
Delegates will be provided with a certificate of attendance on completion of the conference evaluation form.

Terms and Conditions

Payment of Registration Fees
Full payment must be made by credit/debit card at the time of registering. Cards accepted are Visa, Visa Debit and MasterCard. Unfortunately, we cannot accept American Express, Visa Purchasing or Maestro.

Entry to the conference will not be permitted unless full payment has been received. On receipt of your registration form, a confirmation email and receipt will be sent to you by the conference organisers. If you have not received this within 5 working days of registering, please contact the conference organisers by emailing naturalhistory2020@in-conference.org.uk

Cancellation
Notification of cancellation must be submitted by email to the conference organisers to naturalhistory2020@in-conference.org.uk
Cancellations made on or before 24th April 2020 midnight GMT will be refunded less the £40 administration fee.
Cancellations made on or after 24th April 2020 midnight GMT will NOT be refunded.
No-shows will NOT be refunded.

Visas
If you’re from an EEA country or Switzerland, then you must have either a valid passport or a national identity card issued by a EEA country, which is valied for the whole of your stay.  Please ensure you keep up-to-date on travel arrangements for EU Citizens to the UK.  To check if you need a visa, click here.
If you’re not from a EEA country, then you must hold a valid passport before you visit Scotland and the UK and you may require a visa. To check if you need a visa, click here.

Validity of Passports
It is your responsibility to ensure that your passport is valid for travel and we recommend that you check with your local Embassy.
